The Flathead Valley is growing rapidly. The US Census estimates that between 2010 and 2019, the Flathead added around 1,300 people. Between 2018 and 2019, the Kalispell area was the eighth fastest growing “micropolitan” area in the country. As the Valley grows, it is up to local governments, stakeholders, and citizens to drive smart and balanced growth so we can maintain the place that we love.
Citizens for a Better Flathead works with local governments, business leaders, and other stakeholders to advocate for decisions that balance economic development with creating and maintaining healthy communities and environments.
